What is Run 3?
Run 3 is a space runner with platforming. The alien moves by itself through floating tunnel sections. You only steer sideways and jump, but every move has to be made before the next gap is right in front of you. Miss the ground and the run ends.
The floor does not always continue straight ahead. Run onto a side wall and gravity rotates so the wall becomes the floor. That may get you past a missing section, but it also changes where the next jump will take you. Crumbling tiles disappear underfoot. Ice carries you farther, and conveyors either add speed or take it away.
Explore Mode has connected levels that you can replay when a section gives you trouble. Infinite Mode keeps going until you fall and gives you Power Cells to collect along the way. You can unlock runners with different movement traits, which can make a difficult section feel very different.
How to play Run 3
- Press Play and wait for the game frame to load.
- Click inside the frame so it receives the keyboard input.
- Choose a mode. Explore Mode is for working through levels, while Infinite Mode is a survival run.
- The alien moves forward on its own. Use the Left and Right Arrow keys to get in line with solid ground before a gap.
- Press Up Arrow or Spacebar to jump. Tap for a small adjustment; hold the key for a longer leap.
- When the floor ends, guide the alien onto a side wall if it gives you somewhere safe to continue.
- Look past the next gap before you jump. You need enough room to set up the move after it.
Do most of the steering before the edge. A late correction in the air usually turns a manageable jump into a miss. Line up, jump once, then settle the alien before the next gap.

Run 3 tips
Start long jumps from the middle
Stay near the middle of the tunnel when you can. Starting a long jump from an edge leaves little space to correct the angle. Move into position first, then commit to the jump.
Match the jump to the surface
A quick tap is enough for a narrow gap. Hold the key when you need distance. On ice, the alien slides farther after landing, so a small steer usually works better than a hard turn.
Pick the wall before the gap
When the floor breaks ahead, check which wall gives you solid ground after gravity changes. Reaching the first wall you see may save one gap, but it can leave the next jump in a worse position.
Leave crumbling tiles quickly
Fragile tiles do not give you much time. Decide where you are going next before you step on them, then keep moving. Skip a Power Cell if picking it up would pull you away from a safe line.
Let ice and conveyors set the timing
Ice sends the alien farther, and conveyors change the jump distance. Jump a little earlier when a conveyor speeds you up. If it slows you down, wait longer before leaving the edge.
Replay difficult Explore levels
Replay a hard level to see what caused the miss. On a familiar section, it is easier to tell whether the problem was your speed, your angle, or the jump timing. Infinite Mode is better for practising quick reactions to new tunnel layouts.
Change runner for a stubborn section
Different runners handle the same section differently. If you keep falling at one gap, try another character before repeating the exact same attempt.
Game elements
| Element | Role in game | Player tip |
|---|---|---|
| Tunnel sections | The path through each run | Look ahead for the surface you need after the next jump. |
| Side walls | Surfaces that can become the floor | Choose a wall that gives you space for the jump that follows. |
| Gaps | Missing ground that ends a run | Move into position early, then tap or hold the jump key. |
| Crumbling, ice, and conveyor tiles | Ground that changes your movement | Keep moving on weak tiles and change the timing for the speed you have. |
| Power Cells | Pickups found during runs | Take them when they sit on the line you already need. |
| Unlockable runners | Characters with different movement traits | Change character if a section keeps failing in the same place. |
Why players like Run 3
The controls are simple, but the tunnel keeps changing what a safe jump looks like. A jump that worked on a straight section may go wrong after ice, a conveyor, or a gravity shift. When you fall, the reason is usually visible. You were too late, too far to one side, or headed toward the wrong wall.
Explore Mode lets you repeat a problem section until the timing makes sense. In Infinite Mode, each recovery affects how long the run lasts. In either mode, steering before the gap leaves more room than trying to rescue the jump at the edge.

Is Run 3 free to play online?
Yes. You can play Run 3 in your browser on this page without downloading a separate app.
What type of game is Run 3?
Run 3 is a space runner with platforming. An alien moves through floating tunnels while you steer, clear gaps, and run across walls to flip gravity.
