What is Blobade?
Blobade drops a small pirate onto an island with food chests, gold, and armed rivals. Break open chests and collect their contents to raise your level. As you grow, you gain health and attack reach, which makes the next fight a little less risky.
Poison gas gradually takes over the outer island. A quiet stretch near the edge is useful for collecting food early, but you have to leave it before the gas closes in. Near the center, the remaining pirates have less room to avoid one another.
A click gives you a quick slash at close range. Hold the button and release it for a charged dash that carries you forward. You can use the dash to catch a retreating pirate, break a chest, or escape a bad position. Check where you will land first: a missed dash may put you beside another rival.
How to play Blobade
- Press Play and wait for the game files to finish loading.
- Choose an available match option and enter the island as a small pirate.
- Move toward nearby food chests and strike them to collect the resources inside.
- Keep gathering until you have enough health and reach to contest nearby rivals safely.
- Left-click for a quick slash when a target is close. Hold and release the button when you need a charged dash.
- Watch the poison boundary and move into the safe area before it cuts off your route.
- Defeat exposed opponents, collect the resources they leave, and stay alive until no rival remains.
At level one, pass up a fight if you can reach an unguarded chest. Food gives you more health and reach, so even a short collecting detour can change the next encounter.

Open chests before hunting rivals
Look for a chest away from other pirates when the match starts. Break it open, gather the food, and check your health before approaching anyone. With little reach at the start, even a fair-looking fight can go wrong quickly.
Judge distance before you slash
Get close enough before clicking. An early slash leaves time for the other pirate to step in while your attack finishes. Approach from an angle and wait until they commit to a direction before you swing.
Aim the dash where the rival is going
Your pirate dashes forward when you release the button, so aim ahead of a moving rival. If they are circling a chest, cut across their route. Following directly behind them makes the dash easier to miss.
Keep an escape route beside you
Before stopping for a chest or dropped resources, look for a clear path toward the safe zone. Another pirate may arrive while you collect. Leave the loot if staying would trap you against the poison edge.
Move inward before the gas forces you
Move toward the safe area while you still have room to choose a route. If the gas catches up while a stronger rival blocks the way, you may have to run straight past them. Once inside, look for food or a fight from safer ground.
Use offline play to learn attack timing
If the menu offers offline play, try a few slashes and charged dashes there. You can see how close a target must be for a slash and how far a dash carries you before taking those attacks into an online match.

Why players like Blobade
