Curve Rush
Play Curve Rush online for free. No download, no sign-up. Hold to pick up speed down the sandy hills, let go to fly above the white line, then try to meet the next slope without smashing the ball.

What is Curve Rush?
Curve Rush gives you one control and plenty of ways to get the timing wrong. The ball rolls across a chain of sandy curves. Hold while it moves downhill to gather speed, then release as the ground rises to send it into the air.
The white line near the top of the screen marks the height needed for a point. Flying above it raises your score, but the jump still has to end well. Hit a peak, an uphill face, or flat ground at a steep angle and the ball breaks, ending the run.
You cannot use the same press length on every hill. A deep valley gives the ball enough speed for a long flight, while a shallow curve is often easier to follow with a small hop. Before chasing height, check whether the next visible slope gives you somewhere sensible to land.
Speed carries from one hill into the next, so even a rough landing changes the jump that follows. When the ball slows down, use the next valley to rebuild momentum instead of trying to force a high release from a weak climb.
Coins sit along the ground and hang in the air. Collect them when they fall on the route you already want. Swerving away from a good landing for one extra coin is a quick way to lose the whole run.
How to play Curve Rush
- Press Play and wait for the game frame to finish loading.
- Hold the left mouse button, Spacebar, or Up Arrow as the ball moves down a slope.
- Release on the upward part of the curve to launch into the air.
- Watch the next hills while the ball is rising. Look for a descending face that matches the direction of the fall.
- Hold again as the ball approaches that downslope so it follows the curve and rebuilds speed.
- Clear the white line when the landing ahead looks manageable.
- Collect coins that sit on a safe path, and keep going until a hard impact ends the attempt.
Keep the jump low when the landing area looks awkward. Staying close to the ground leaves less time to correct the fall, but the next contact is easier to judge. Go for a bigger release when a broad downslope is already visible ahead.
Controls
Desktop
- Dive and gain speed: hold the left mouse button, Spacebar, or Up Arrow.
- Launch: release the held input while travelling up a slope.
- Shape the descent: hold again before reaching the landing slope.
- Menus and restart: use the buttons shown inside the game frame.
Mobile
- Dive and gain speed: press and hold the screen.
- Launch: lift your finger on an upward curve.
- Shape the descent: press again before the ball reaches the ground.
Touch performance can vary by browser and device. A current browser and landscape orientation give the game frame more room for reading the hills ahead.
Curve Rush tips
Use the downhill half for speed
Start holding while the ball is travelling downhill. If you wait until it is already climbing, there is less time to gather speed for the launch. Keep the button down through the dip, then release as the curve starts to rise.
Read the landing before chasing height
Look beyond the crest before releasing. A wide downhill face gives you room to bring the ball back to the ground. If the next visible section is a sharp peak or an uphill face, use a lower arc and stay closer to the surface.
Match the slope instead of dropping onto it
Try to bring the ball down in the same direction as the slope. Press during the later part of the fall so it approaches a downward face instead of dropping almost straight onto it. A close angle keeps more speed for the next valley.
Do not force every coin line
Some coin trails lead toward a poor landing. Take the coins that fit a safe arc, but leave a cluster alone if it pulls the ball toward flat ground or the wrong side of a hill. Another stretch of the run will bring more pickups.
Build a rhythm with smaller jumps
Use the first few hills to get used to the press and release timing. A string of small, clean jumps is better practice than one huge launch followed by a crash. Once the landings feel steady, hold longer through a deep descent and try for more height.
Adjust one point after a crash
After a crash, change one part of the timing. Release earlier or use a lower arc if the ball hit the front of a hill. If it dropped almost straight down, start holding sooner during the fall. Keeping the other input the same makes the result easier to read.
Game elements
| Element | Role in game | Player tip |
|---|---|---|
| Rolling ball | Carries speed across the terrain | Use the curve under it to decide when to hold and release. |
| Sand hills | Create launches, valleys, and landing faces | Look one or two slopes ahead before committing to height. |
| White scoring line | Marks the height needed for a point | Cross it only when the next landing still looks safe. |
| Coins | Optional pickups along the route and in the air | Follow coin paths that match a controlled jump. |
| Landing angle | Decides whether momentum continues or the run ends | Aim for a descending face that follows the ball’s fall. |
Why players like Curve Rush
Curve Rush takes only a few seconds to understand. The trouble is that every hill asks for slightly different timing. A careful release keeps the run moving. A longer flight may score another point, but it also gives you a steeper fall to manage.
The quick restart works well with that setup. Most crashes have an obvious cause: a late launch, a steep fall, or a coin taken on the wrong line. You can spot the bad choice and try a different timing on the next run.

FAQ
Is Curve Rush free to play online?
Yes. Curve Rush runs in your browser on this page, with no separate download or sign-up required.
What type of game is Curve Rush?
Curve Rush is a physics-based arcade runner. You guide a ball across rolling sand hills, use the slopes to build speed, and try to survive each landing.
How do you control Curve Rush?
Hold the left mouse button, Spacebar, or Up Arrow to dive down a slope and gain speed. Release the input on an upward curve to launch the ball.
How do you score points in Curve Rush?
Launch the ball above the white line near the top of the screen. Each successful crossing adds to your score, but you still need a safe landing to continue the run.
How do you land safely in Curve Rush?
Try to meet a descending slope at a similar angle to the ball’s fall. Landing on a peak, an uphill face, or flat ground at high speed can end the run.
Can I play Curve Rush on mobile?
Yes. On a touch device, press and hold the screen to dive and build speed, then lift your finger to launch. Performance can vary by browser and device.
Why is Curve Rush not loading?
Reload the page and give the game frame time to download its browser build. If it still does not start, check that embedded content is allowed and try a current browser.
