What is Mr Flip?
Mr Flip is a 3D stunt game about getting one jump right. The athlete starts on a platform, and a marked patch nearby shows where the feet need to land. Hold to crouch, let go to jump, then hold again to turn the body through a backflip. One last release stops the rotation for the landing.
Both feet have to come down inside the target with the athlete upright. A weak takeoff falls short, while too much charge carries the jump past the zone. Hold the flip for too long and the athlete is still turning when the ground arrives.
There are eight levels with ten jumps in each. The height, gap, and landing space change as you move through them, so the timing from one jump rarely carries over exactly to the next. Clean landings earn points and open more challenges. String several together to raise the score multiplier, then work unlocked moves such as the tuck backflip, pike, scissor, knee tuck, second move, and direction switch into later jumps.
How to play Mr Flip
- Press Play and choose an available jump.
- Hold the left mouse button or the screen to crouch and build takeoff power.
- Let go to leave the platform.
- Hold again in the air to start the flip or selected trick.
- Watch the feet as the athlete comes down toward the marked area.
- Release before contact to stop the turn.
- Put both feet inside the target and stay upright to clear the jump.
Treat takeoff and rotation as separate timings. Change the first hold when the athlete misses the platform or flies beyond it. If the distance looks right, leave the takeoff alone and adjust the second hold until the feet arrive first.

Mr Flip tips
Find the landing before adding tricks
Use one controlled backflip on the first attempts at a new jump. That gives you a clear read on the power needed to reach the zone and the time available in the air. Once that landing feels repeatable, try fitting another move into the same arc.
Change one hold at a time
The first hold controls the launch and the second controls the flip. If the jump reaches the middle of the target, keep that takeoff timing. Shorten or lengthen only the airborne hold so the next attempt tells you whether the change helped.
Open up early for the landing
The body keeps moving for a moment after you release. Let go while the feet are still coming around so the athlete has time to straighten. When the shoulders or head hit first, release a little earlier on the next attempt.
Aim for the middle of the landing zone
The edge leaves little room for the ragdoll to fold or slide. Get the takeoff close to the center of the marked area, then work on the landing angle. That extra space makes a clean result easier to repeat during a multiplier streak.
Check the next platform
Look at the target before starting the crouch. A lower landing gives you less time to finish the flip, while a longer gap usually needs more charge on the ground. Reusing the last jump’s timing without checking the new setup is an easy way to overshoot.
Keep the streak simple
Consecutive landings raise the score multiplier, so a familiar flip is often the better choice during a good run. Save the pike, tuck, or second move for a jump with enough airtime and a release point you already know.
Levels, skills, and scoring
| Element | Role in the game | Player tip |
|---|---|---|
| Jump challenges | Short platform-to-target stunts across eight levels | Check the new gap before reusing the previous jump’s timing. |
| Target zone | The area where the athlete must land upright | Work toward the center so a small slide does not ruin the jump. |
| Score multiplier | Increases after consecutive successful jumps | Use a repeatable flip before risking a harder trick. |
| Tuck and pike moves | Change the athlete’s shape during a flip | Try one move at a time and watch how it affects the rotation. |
| Scissor and knee tuck | Add different positions to aerial combinations | Leave enough time to open the body before landing. |
| Second move and direction switch | Add more options to later combinations | Learn them on a forgiving jump before using them during a streak. |
| Arcade mode | A score-focused alternative to the main levels | Get comfortable with takeoff and landing timing before chasing points here. |
Why play Mr Flip?
The controls make sense after one attempt, but the timing takes longer to settle. Most jumps last only a few seconds. When one ends in a ragdoll crash, you can quickly try the same setup again with a shorter crouch or an earlier release.
New platform shapes keep that correction loop going throughout the eight levels. The unlocked moves add another decision once ordinary backflips become reliable: take the safe landing, or use the available airtime for a more ambitious combination and a better score.

FAQ
Is Mr Flip free to play online?
Yes. You can play Mr Flip in your browser on this page without downloading a separate app.
What type of game is Mr Flip?
Mr Flip is a 3D physics stunt game where you launch a ragdoll athlete, perform backflips and other aerial moves, and land upright inside a marked target zone.
How do you control Mr Flip?
Hold the left mouse button or touch screen to crouch, release to jump, hold again in the air to flip, and release before landing to stop the rotation.
What counts as a successful jump in Mr Flip?
The athlete must come down upright on both feet inside the marked landing zone. A completed rotation can still fail if the body lands at a bad angle or outside the target.
How many levels are in Mr Flip?
Mr Flip has eight levels with ten jump challenges in each. The platforms and landing setups become more demanding as you progress.
Can I play Mr Flip on mobile?
Yes. The browser version supports touch controls using the same hold-and-release rhythm as the mouse controls.
